Pink Ribbon Yemen aims to raise early detection rates of breast cancer in Yemen.

Pink Ribbon Yemen strives to significantly reduce breast cancer mortality in the country by creating widespread awareness of early detection and increased access to treatment. The program’s mission is to create widespread awareness about breast cancer and to become a ‘Center of Excellence for Breast Care Information in Yemen’.

The objectives of the campaign are to:

*Make breast cancer a genuinely serious and debatable topic for the people in Yemen.

*Create widespread awareness about breast cancer and its high incidence, severity leading to fatality, impact on the life of the sufferer and the family and also spreading the good news that if detected early, the cancer can be cured.

*Promote understanding and practice of self diagnosis.

*Evoke empathy in the right quarters to support the cause.

*Motivate people to contribute funds for campaign execution.
